Impression
A visit to St. Anne’s Hill gives us an architectural vibe of being in Columbus’ German Village mixed with the street art of Dayton’s Oregon District.
Unmistakably Germanic styled architecture abounds, entrenched on the sloping hill. You’d be forgiven if you were dropped off here blind folded and thought you might be in some areas of Cincinnati as well.
It was a fun jaunt to have just driven through the neighborhood, looking at the way things were setup, the kids out playing in their yards and the parks. Parking at a side street, we also walked about and captured some of the images you see here, with impressive artwork.
We’ve been to Dayton many times, but this was our first time in the St Anne’s Hill District. We are glad we checked out the area and you will be too – viewing the murals and architecture for yourself.
