A Drink and Click event is where photographers, models, local business and camera companies come together for shoot.

This Drink and Click was held at the BrewDog establishment in Franklinton, Columbus, OH and sponsored by Midwest Photo Exchange and Fujifilm USA.

Impression

Fuji brought out a wide selection of Fuji XF and GFX cameras for people to experiment with.

I had the pleasure of being able to work with 2 models. Both Julia Hollon and Bethany Snyder did an outstanding job! They not only had to pose for hours, but they often had to contend with multiple photographers vying for their attention simultaneously.

Franklinton is a great area for this kind of event as you have many alleys and murals throughout the neighborhood. We also lucked out and the weather cooperated with us, July in Ohio can be a bit of a muggy affair. Low humidity and great sunlight helped make for a great set of shooting conditions. Midwest Photo brought some lighting gear, too to help fill in those shadows and to keep a good level of light for when the sun set.

There were a lot of attendees so make sure you get there early as space and loaner equipment can go fast!

This was also a great opportunity to meet other people with similar likes and work with experienced models as well.
