Hosted by the Thai Boxing Association Sanctioning Authority (TBASA), Arnold Sports Festival 2024 housed this event in one of the large ballrooms on the second floor of the convention center.

Impression

While not a novice to the world of combat sports or to muay thai bouts – the 2024 Arnold sports Festival was our first coverage of muay thai.

Steeped in tradition, these fights are entertaining, very physical – but the fighters showed a high level of respect for one another.

Kicks, knees, elbow strikes and punches were all employed through out, leading to some bloody fights by the end of the 3 rounds.

Knockdowns and knock outs are not uncommon either – basically action packed from first bell to last bell.

This is a highly recommended event and we encourage you to attend! This year we covered the amateurs and next year we plan on covering the professionals. The difference, other than number of fights are less pads!
