Background
The memorial was founded/established in 2005 and dedicated 2007. It honors all Ohioans from all branches of the service that gave their life defending the United States against terrorism.

Impression
This is a beautiful memorial that is not too far from the Sunbury Square. I parked at the square and took the short walk there.
When going, take the time to read what is there to better understand the different parts of the memorial. There is a story behind the “coins”.
This is one of those places that should be experienced and not a whole lot need be said by me. We all have our own experiences on September 11, 2001 and the Global War on Terror that occurred after.
