North Court Street – Athens, Ohio

Background

Heading southeast on Route 33, you go through Lancaster, Nelsonville, and about an hour into it, you come to an area famous for the Ohio University. The Court Street area is a spot of local shops and art that is worth a stop on your travels.

Impressions

We just happened to be in this area for various personal reasons but a little upfront research resulted in a trip to the North Court Street area. Given that this is a “college town” area of Athens, there are plenty of business that cater toward that crows, including diverse food options as well as shops and local artworks.

We strolled through the area for a few hours and just thought we would share some of the sights that we experienced. Not everything represented here is directly on North Court Street, but is certainly accessible from it on foot!

Enjoy!

This next series of images can all be found on Carpenter Street.
