1st Annual Latine Heritage Parade

Background

Walking from Franklinton to the Scioto Mile, we were graced with luck. Luck being that we discovered the 1st Annual Latine Heritage Parade.

This Latine Heritage Parade is the inaugural in Columbus. It started on the bridge by Milestone 229 and ended over at Columbus City Hall.

Happiness and acceptance to all that were in the parade and those watching. There was a welcoming feeling as we passed by each float and group.

Various nations were represented and all were sharing clothing, culture and a rich heritage to all in attendance. While one of the smaller parades we’ve been to in participation and attendance – we chalk that up only to the fact that this is the first year. We can see there being an explosion in both those 2 metrics in years to come.

It’s possible for us to go on and on, but please look through the images in this post and you’ll see visually all that we have discussed and more!
